RPG Night

Come meet people interested in Pen & Paper RPGs (like Dungeons and Dragons). Try out a game, meet fellow players, and find GMs.

Come early if you want to get in on any games that we run. We’ll have two great GMs on hand to run a couple of one-shots. Otherwise, this is a meetup in the most literal sense, an RPG networking event if you will. Finding campaigns to join, GMs, and compatible people to play with is always difficult. For those of you longing for the start of a new adventure. and even those of you that have never played before but want to, this is a great start. We haven’t run one of these since last year, but I know of a few campaigns that spun off from the previous one (and at least three that are still running to this day). So come by, say hi, play or watch, meet people, have fun. The venue requires a minimum order of one thing (from coffee to beer to nachos), otherwise, the event is free.

Pen & Paper

Wednesday night is pen & paper night! We’re hoping to start a tradition here at Hooch. It is open to everyone. From people that have always been looking for a group to play with to people that have never played but have always been curious.

We’re starting this out slow. The games will be very casual and future nights will be subject to change according to the feedback we receive. In the coming pen & paper nights, we hope to add new and interesting game systems as well as longer campaigns. We will be playing games a number of games and depending on what our host GMs want to play, so far that includes D&D 5e, Call of Cuthulu, Warhammer 40k, Fiasco, and a d6 based game. Our current Pen & Paper nights are extending into 3-4 session games but will also include special one-shot nights. We have character sheets for players (most are partially pre-generated so we hit the ground running with play).

There is no entrance fee, however, outside food and drink is not allowed and there is a minimum order of one item (anything from coffee or beer to food). Players are expected to come in friendly and stay that way. Keep with the mantra, it’s only a game, it’s only a game. If players that dabble in jackassery will be asked to leave, especially if they are annoying our GMs who have so graciously agreed to run the games.

Wednesday night is pen & paper night! For this eleventh tabletop event, we’ll continue with some of the adventures that didn’t finish as well as start a new one. We are looking for more GMs so please message me if you are interested!
