Branding and Trademarks
September 18 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan is proud to welcome Jessie Chou of MUSA Trademark and Richard DeVries of Geber Consulting to share their experience on branding and trademarks. CCCT members and friends are warmly invited to join us.
It can be argued that a trademark is the most valuable asset of your company since it represents who you are and forms the connection with your customers. It is crucial to protect it with a proper plan but perhaps you just don’t know where to start. From this event, you will get a basic understanding of trademark rules and how to pick a trademark that is likely to be accepted by the government. At the same time, we will show you the methods we use to help companies set up a trademark strategy. You can bring home a worksheet to guide you through the process faster and easier.
How do you get your company and your brand to succeed? You need to listen. You need to listen to your customers and create a brand position that sticks in their minds. Then you need to come up with a plan that addresses Awareness, Consideration, Intent and Action and has actionable steps for each of these. Richard will be sharing his experience helping Taiwanese companies build their brands and marketing plans based on these and other concepts and share some tips on how you can do this for your own businesses.
